The Twisted Hobby Step One Trainer is a pusher prop plane that has a AUW of only 180 grams! This gave me enough room to fit FPV gear thanks to minature cameras and 5.8 gHz video transmitters becoming available on the market. With electronics becoming increasingly smaller who really knows how small and light FPV aircraft will become. Flight controllers are also getting much smaller with the push to fit FCs into mini-quads. I will being using one that has a built-in OSD and hopefully keep the AUW of the plane under 250 grams which is the point at which the FAA is requiring hobby RC arcraft to be attached to a registered RC pilot.
